Visiting theme parks isn't necessarily a relaxing vacation, but it is an escape from reality nonetheless. We visited Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Universal. Here are some of my favorite photos from each.
The first stop is Hollywood studios where we built a droid and checked out an x-wing and the Millennium Falcon. Next, at Epcot, this is a smoked beverage. It's like an old fashioned, smoked, mixed with Mezcal. Until the ice ball melted, it was a little harsh, but also absolutely delicious. I loved all of the older rides. It was like a window into what the future might have looked like to people mid century. This is at the base of Spaceship Earth. A beautiful view of Spaceship Earth from the flower bed. I didn't realize how much I'd like Epcot. The rides were more educational and we drank/ate around the world. I think the attraction that was my absolute favorite was Haunted Mansion. I know this is a quick way to get kicked out of the park, but I really wanted to step off the ride and look around when it would come to a stop. Everything looks so interesting. Realistically, I know the books were probably glued to the shelves and the long hallways were mirror tricks. Walking into Magic Kingdom is sort of overwhelming. If you're pushing a stroller, your wheels get caught in the tram tracks and all of a sudden your stroller is a tram too. We also visited Universal. That was a single day and we got to visit everything from Hogwarts to Jurassic park. I was event tempted to get a Duff beer at Moe's tavern. 10/10 will be returning and planning more time in the park.
